as for the wheels, the rims in the 1A kit are nice but since the real car is a white rim with a chrome half moon cap, your only option is to paint the outer area (use the movie for reference) white leaving middle 'cap' chrome (which is what you did ). I have bought enough of their kits over the years and had 4 extras in my parts box, a little acrylic white paint and a fine brush and steady hand fixes that. Fortunately you can find those tires in scale in almost ANY 80s era MPC (later AMT, AMT/Ertl) kits and their reissues.
